Water Billing
Billing Cycles
Village residents are billed for water and sewer usage every other month, while commercial accounts are billed monthly. Meter readings are obtained from a smartpoint which sends radio reads directly to the Village. The smartpoint is located on the outside of the home. If you are a new resident, please contact the Finance Department at (708) 579-2301.

Bill Payment Options
The Village offers four different ways to pay your water bill.
1) "FREE" - Automatic Bill Payment
The Village offers an automatic direct debit program that automatically issues payment of your water and sewer bill from your checking account on the due date. No postage, no check writing, and no penalties. To enroll in the automatic debit program or change information, please fill out and return the Direct Debit Payment Form (PDF) to Village Hall along with a voided check, which authorizes the Village to initiate this transaction.
2) Payment in Person
Residents may also drop off payments in person at Village Hall:

Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Payments may also be dropped off after hours in our drop boxes, which are located at the Village Hall front (La Grange Road) and side/ramp (Harris Avenue) doors.
3) Payment by Mail
Residents wishing to pay by mail should send the return stub and payment to:

4) On-Line Credit/Debit Card Payments
The Village offers a new payment option that allows residents and businesses to pay their water bills on-line utilizing credit/debit cards. Customers are required to register their account on-line, utilizing a current water bill. Customers are also required to pay a $1 transaction fee for this service, which is assessed by the software vendor at the time of payment. Submit an online credit/debit card payment.
