Located only 13 miles west of downtown Chicago, La Grange is easily accessible from every direction.

Downtown La Grange sits at the crossroads of La Grange Road (State Route 12/20/45)  and Ogden Avenue (State Route 34). Interstates 290, 55, and the Tri-State Tollway (294) provide easy connections to the region. O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport are each less than 30 minutes away.

Nearly 5,000 passengers a day take advantage of the Metra commuter rail transportation accessible at the La Grange Road Train station and the Stone Avenue Station.

La Grange area public transportation includes:

  • METRA - Provides commuter rails service between the southwest suburbs from Aurora to Chicago. There are two train stations in La Grange, both with nearby parking. METRA information is available by calling (312) 836-7000.
  • Pace - Provides bus service throughout the Chicago suburbs, with bus stops in La Grange. For information call (708) 344-7400.
