The State of Illinois has announced a multi-agency initiative to provide tools to help homeowners facing foreclosure. The Illinois Foreclosure Prevention Network (IFPN) will host events designed to give homeowners access to free counseling services, legal advice, mortgage payments assistance programs and tips on how to avoid mortgage fraud.
The first IFPN event will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Morton West High School, 2400 Home Avenue, Berwyn, IL.
