ComEd offers assistance to residential customers who qualify through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Summer Energy Assistance Program (Summer Cooling). The maximum grant amount a customer would be eligible to receive is $150. The Summer Cooling program is being administered through LIHEAP agencies. The program targets at-risk households defined as seniors; persons with disabilities; families with children under five years of age; and those with medical conditions that would be aggravated by extreme heat.
