The Village’s final proposed FY 2013-14 Budget is now available for residents to review on-line. (Please note, this is a large file which may take several minutes or more to download. Once downloaded, users can easily navigate the document as separate links have been created for each section and sub-section).
The budget is the Village’s most important policy document as it sets forth the Village’s spending priorities over the next five years and how those priorities will be funded.
The Village budget, which was amended by the Village Board, is now in its final form and will be considered for adoption by the Village Board at its regular meeting on Monday, April 8 (click here to read the Board Report).
While a public hearing will be held prior to budget adoption to provide residents with a final opportunity to comment on the budget document, the Village budget is viewed as a “living document”. Consequently, residents are invited to comment on Village revenues, expenditures or fiscal policies at any time of the year.
