Residents that sustained damages during the April 16 to May 5 severe weather events are encouraged to register with FEMA for disaster assistance before the registration period ends on July 24, 2013. This date has been extended in order to accomodate residents.
The registration process normally takes less than half an hour. Applicants will need to provide a social security number, current and pre-disaster address and phone number, insurance information and total household annual income. Once you have registered with FEMA, you will be assigned a nine-digit Registration Identification Number.
