Com Ed representatives have advised the Village that they are currently performing damage assessments and system repairs in the area. Estimated restoration times will be provided by Com Ed once the assessments are complete.
Com Ed's Outage Alerts program allows participants to report outages via text messaging. Subscribers can text the word "OUT" to 26633 (COMED) to report an outage at the location Com Ed has associated with their cell phone number. Subscribers will receive regular updates on the status of their outage until service is restored.

Given the forecasted heat and humidity, the La Grange Public Library at 10 W. Cossitt Avenue and the Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital at 5101 Willow Springs Road (enter through the Emergency Room doors) are open and available as cooling centers for residents during the outages.
