[ARCHIVED] Used Cooking Oil Recycling Event

The La Grange Park Cool Village Commission has partnered with SCARCE to host a used cooking oil recycling event on Saturday, November 30 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Village Market, 415 N. La Grange Road.

Used cooking oil (such as from deep frying a turkey) should not be poured down the drain as it can build up and clog sewer pipes. Used cooking oil collected during the event will be recycled into bio-fuel.

Bring used cooking oil in a milk jug, bucket or other spill-safe container.

For more information regarding the SCARCE or the used cooking oil event, please contact SCARCE at 630-545-9710 or visit their website at www.scarceecoed.org.
