The last day to accept voter registration or transfers of registration for the March 15, 2016 Presidential Primary Election is Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
You may register to vote on line at the Illinois State Board of Elections website with your Driver’s License or State I.D. If you think that you may already be registered to vote, you can check by using the State Board of Elections Voter Registration Lookup (http://www.elections.il.gov/votinginformation/Registrationlookup.aspx.
Residents may also register to vote in person at Cook County located at 1311 Maybrook Square, Room 104, Maywood, or from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays in the Administration office on the first floor of the Village Hall, 53 S. La Grange Road. Two pieces of identification are required, including one with your current address (photo ID’s are not required).
Any registered suburban Cook County voter may request a mail ballot on line at the Cook County Clerk’s Office http://www.cookcountyclerk.com/elections/mailvoting/Pages/default.aspx
Once your registration is verified and application processed, the County will send a paper ballot to the mailing address that you designate in your application. The deadline to apply, including e mail verification, if five days before an election. Applications for a mail ballot are also available at the Village Hall or online at www.cookcountyclerk.com.
Early voting will take place Tuesday, February 29, 2016 through Tuesday, March 14, 2016 at selected sites. A government issued photo ID is required to early vote.
