The West Cook County Solid Waste Agency will host a regional electronics recycling event in Westchester on Saturday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Westchester water tower near the intersection of Cermak Road and Enterprise Drive.
Items accepted include computer equipment, small printers, telephones, answering machines, cellular phones, fax machines, stereo equipment, software, CD's and tapes. Televisions, VCR's and DVD's will also be accepted (no wooden box frames or rear projection large screens).
Items not accepted include refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, air conditioners, microwaves, oversized copiers and any business / commercial items (the event is residential only).
