At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016, an attempted armed robbery occurred on Calendar Avenue, between La Grange Road and the Calendar Avenue parking lot. The victim, an employee of a local business on Calendar Avenue, was not touched or injured.

The Police Department is investigating whether this crime is related to the police incident on June 21, 2016.
While the investigation continues, off-duty Police Officers are being called back to conduct enhanced patrols throughout the holiday weekend.
