The Material Service Corporation vs. Village of La Grange litigation (July 2016) discovery continues in the form of depositions and document collection. The Village has urged the court to expedite the proceedings with the goal of commencing construction of the 50th Street Storm Sewer project in either the first or second quarter of 2017 and this has been acknowledged by the court. A status hearing on the case will be held on January 10, 2017 in Cook County Circuit Court.
In addition, the La Grange Country Club indicates it is pursuing alternative storm water engineering plans to temporarily store 100-year storm water overland flooding.
