On Thursday, October 6, representatives from the Village and the Hanson quarry reconvened in a second court-supervised mediation session.
As the judge has specifically directed both parties to maintain confidentiality during this process of mediation, we are unable to report further. Our goal, however, is a timely resolution.
The Village and Hanson quarry are scheduled to return for a third round of court-supervised mediation on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
The Village of La Grange will continue to proceed at the court’s discretion, always with the safety and security of Village residents top of mind.
