News Flash

A robbery at Bank of America (1425 W. 47th Street) was reported at 1:35 p.m. this afternoon.  A note was passed to the teller demanding money.  No weapon was displayed or inferred and no threat of violence was presented. 

The bank teller reports that the suspect was observed getting into an unknown vehicle and leaving the area.  The suspect is described as an unarmed, white male approximately 6 feet tall and 35-40 years of age, receding hair line, blue sunglasses, dark pants, dark jacket and wearing bandages on his finger tips.

Residents are asked to remain vigilant and contact 9-1-1 with any information regarding this active investigation.
