The West Cook County Solid Waste Agency has announced an electronics recycling
event on Saturday, October 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Burr Ridge electronics recycling drop off site (Burr Ridge Public Works 451 Commerce Street.
Materials accepted include flat screens, projections TVs and monitors. Collection is sponsored by eWorks ESI and is open to all residents and small businesses. If you have more than 50 items (3 pallets or greater) please contact eWorks to arrange for a special pickup. A donation fee will apply to all televisions and monitors.
Items not accepted are large appliances. alkaline batteries, wooden speakers, smoke detectors, hazardous and chemical waste. All items should be delivered unboxed and free of excess packaging materials.
