As the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day holidays fall on a Saturday this year, Allied Waste will adhere to the regular refuse pick-up schedule (Monday’s north of 47th Street and Thursday’s south of 47th Street) for the weeks of December 20, December 27 and January 3.
Beginning Monday, December 27, 2010 through January 13, 2011, Allied Waste will collect Christmas trees from the parkway as part of the regularly-scheduled refuse pick-up. There will be no charge for this service; a sticker is not required. Please be sure to remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights and other inorganic material before placing the tree on the parkway. For safety reasons, do not place your tree on the parkway until the day of your pick-up if possible.
