The heavy snow fall this morning has caused tree limbs to fall on power lines, sidewalks and roadways. Public Works crews are working to assess damage and remove debris.
The Village is experiencing power outages as a result of the falling limbs. The Village has been in contact with Com Ed who advises that crews are on site and are making repairs. During the repairs, some intermittent lane and road closures will be required, such as on 47th Street west of East Avenue.
To report a
power outage, please contact Com Ed on line or at 1-800-EDISON-1 (1-800-334-7661).
If a branch is blocking a sidewalk or roadway, please contact Public Works at (708) 579-2328. Other branches that may have fallen during the storm will be picked up starting November 4 as a part of the Village's
free monthly brush pickup program.
