Governor Pritzker has determined that all four areas of Illinois have met the requirements in order to move to Phase 3 of the modified Restore Illinois Plan beginning Friday, May 29. With the entire state entering Phase 3, Governor Pritzker announced an end to the Stay at Home Order and extended the statewide disaster declaration through June 27. Additionally, the Governor signed Executive Order 2020-38, called the Community Recovery Order, to reflect the changes allowed in Phase 3.
As a result, the Village’s restaurants have reopened for outdoor dining with expanded sidewalk seating including parklets in certain locations. Restaurants are implementing a number of additional health and safety practices to enhance the dining experience. Because seating capacity is limited, it may be necessary to contact individual restaurants to make a reservation. In addition to outdoor dining options, restaurants will continue to provide pick-up, carry-out and delivery services. Please visit www.lgdelivers.com for a list of La Grange dining options, visit individual restaurant websites, or contact the restaurant directly for specific information.
Retailers are also reopening with modifications to enhance health and safety while shopping. In addition, on-line shopping continues to be an option for many La Grange retail businesses. Certain categories of personal care establishments such as hair salons, nail salons and fitness clubs are also allowed to reopen under certain circumstances and with health and safety measures in place. Please contact individual businesses for more information or visit their websites.
Under Phase 3 of the modified Restore Illinois Plan, face coverings continue to be required in public. Six feet of physical distancing also must continue to be maintained.
