[ARCHIVED] Severe Weather Update

La Grange

Com Ed reports that approximately 199 residents remain without power this morning.  Crews are working and Com Ed estimates restoration for all residents will occur within the next 12-16 hours.

The Village is continuing to be in regular contact with Com Ed.

Public Works crews are removing limbs from the streets and sidewalks. In order to give residents time to collect any limbs on their property, a special brush pick up will be held starting Monday, August 17.  For more information regarding brush pickup guidelines, please visit the Village website.

Do not approach downed power lines.  Com Ed customers can text "OUT" to 26633 (COMED) to report an outage and receive restoration information. Customers can also call 1-800 EDISON1 (1-800-334-7661), or report outages via their website at ComEd.com/Report

To report non-emergencies please call the Lyons Township Area Communications Center at 708-215-3586.

In the event of an emergency please call 9-1-1.
