The La Grange Farmer’s Market is held every Thursday morning from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s market has transitioned from a community gathering space to an In/Out Market with a new layout for social distancing, sanitation and safety protocols.
The outdoor market runs rain or shine from June 4th through October 29th and features over 20 local and regional farmers and small batch vendors. It’s located on Harris Avenue between La Grange Road and Sixth Avenue. Convenient free parking is available nearby.
The market will provide fruits, vegetables, flowers, breads and other items. Following guidelines from the Illinois Farmers Market Association, shoppers and vendors will be required to wear a face covering. A limited number of people will be allowed into the market at a time to shop; seniors are encouraged to shop between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Additionally, vendors must wear gloves and shoppers will not be allowed to touch or handle any products. Instead, vendors will assemble the shopper’s order and process payment. Eating and sampling food will not be permitted.
Some vendors are providing pre-ordering on their websites for for quick and convenient pickup at the market.
