For the twenty-seventh consecutive year, the Village of La Grange is in receipt of the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) "Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting" for the annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2021.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting which demonstrates a constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users to read the financial statements. This attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
