Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, Flood Brothers will have a modified refuse / recycling pickup date for residents south of 47th Street. Residents with normal refuse pickup on Thursday, November 24, will have refuse / recycling service on Friday, November 25. Refuse collection for residents north of 47th Street will be unchanged.
Refuse service will be impacted for all residents in December and January due to the holidays. Modified holiday refuse / recycling pickup dates are as follows:
- Residents north of 47th Street with regularly scheduled Monday pickup, will have refuse / recycling service on Tuesday, December 27, and Tuesday, January 3.
- Residents south of 47th Street with regularly scheduled Thursday pickup, will have refuse / recycling service on Friday, December 30, and Friday, January 6.
Holiday trees will be collected Tuesday, January 3; Friday, January 6; Monday, January 9; and Thursday, January 12. There is no charge for this service, and a sticker is not required. Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights and other inorganic material before placing the tree on the parkway.
Flood Brothers Disposal Services has also provided a list of holiday items that can be recycled or reused in the Village's curbside collection program.
