[ARCHIVED] "Spring Clean-Up" Day will be Held the Week of April 24, 2023

2022 Spring Clean Up

This year's "Spring Clean-Up" will be held the week of April 24, 2023, on your regular refuse collection day as follows:

  • Residents north of 47th Street - Monday, April 24, 2023
  • Residents south of 47th Street - Thursday, April 27, 2023
The "Spring Clean-Up" day gives residents who participate in the Village refuse program the opportunity to set out an unlimited amount of household refuse one day a year. Residents are required to affix ONE special "Spring Clean-Up" sticker ($6.20), to items set out for collection. The orange Spring Clean-Up sticker is available for purchase where refuse and yard waste stickers are sold.

The 2023 Spring Clean-Up sticker can only be utilized for the 2023 Spring Clean-up event. Residents can also use two regular refuse stickers ($4.05 per sticker) if it is more convenient.  However, the hauler will not be able to refund the price difference. Please affix your sticker(s) to your refuse cart/refuse can so that they are easy for the hauler to see.

"Spring Clean-Up" is a one time pick-up and if you miss your regularly scheduled clean-up day, it cannot be rescheduled.

Flood Brothers will collect large and miscellaneous items from single and two-family residences at the curb such as:

  • Bulk items (bicycles, fans, etc.)

Acceptable items are to be placed next to your regular refuse at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day. Items other than furniture, large bulk items and appliances must be placed in bags, cans and/or boxes, not larger than 35 gallons or heavier than 50 pounds each.
